Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) seeks a Sr. Manager Global Design to shape design strategy and lead a team of designers across industries, driving user-centered solutions for our energy and sustainability products.

As a Sr. Manager Global Design here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a crucial role in shaping the design strategy and direction for our global energy and sustainability solutions. You will lead a team of designers, driving the development and implementation of innovative and user-centered design solutions for our customers across industries. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design goals and requirements, ensuring that our products are visually appealing, intuitive, and meet the needs of our customers.
You will report directly to our Director, Chemical Engineer and you’ll work out of our Tulsa, OK or Rosemont, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of mechanical design engineers to develop and deliver high quality products
Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful project execution
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and efficiency
Lead and manage a team of designers to create innovative and user-centered design solutions
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to define design goals and requirements
Develop and implement design strategies and guidelines
Ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as sciences technology, engineering or mathematics
Minimum of 12 years of experience in design, with significant leadership experience
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in design tools and software
Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
Ability to drive innovation and creativity
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for creating exceptional user experience

The annual base salary range for this position is $167,00 - $209,000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
