Job summary

Xylem is a Fortune 500 global water solutions company seeking a Sr. Material Support at our Houston, TX facility.

You will process freight invoices in SAP, manage material movement, and generate reports to monitor inventory and production flow. Responsibilities include inbound receipts, shipping schedules, cycle counts, export/hazardous material documentation, and Lean/5S initiatives to drive continuous improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control and logistics.
• Experience preparing export and hazardous material documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process, review, approve, code, and upload freight invoices in the ERP system.
• Generate SAP reports for project and material tracking; analyze transactions.
• Manage inbound receipts and goods receipt transactions in SAP.
• Coordinate daily shipping activities and assign warehouse tasks.
• Lead cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Prepare domestic and international shipping documentation, including export paperwork and hazardous material documentation.
• Support Production Planning with workload-based planning activities.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Assist Facility Manager with maintenance and housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.
