Location: Coraopolis, PA

Pay: $18-23/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: 2nd Shift 3pm - 11pm Monday-Friday (occasional OT). Training on day shift 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday for 3-6 weeks.

Position Summary: This Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1 is responsible for accurately pulling and packaging customer orders and preparing them for shipment via LTL, UPS, and FedEx. Attention to detail and order reconciliation are essential.

Essential Functions:

• Verify outgoing shipments by comparing identifying information, counts, weights, and measures against orders and records.
• Affix shipping labels on packed cartons.
• Package items into preassembled containers, using spacers, fillers, and padding.
• Use computer programs such as Syteline, Internet, FedEx, and UPS throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all company policies, guidelines, and practices.

Additional Duties:

• Load/unload trucks.
• Cross-train to work in other departments.
• Operate forklifts and cranes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Determine tools and equipment needed for tasks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools.
• Listen to and understand spoken information.
• Use computers and scanners.
• Maintain high attention to detail.
• Work effectively in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: One year of experience in shipping.
• Preferred: Forklift experience.
• Physical requirements include exposure to manufacturing areas, use of PPE, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
