About the Role

The Sr Master Scheduler at Sierra Space will play a critical role in orchestrating the production schedule and ensuring that materials are available to meet production demands. The Sr Master Scheduler's expertise will be essential in maintaining an efficient and effective production workflow.

In this role, you will develop, maintain, and communicate the master production schedule to ensure alignment with demand and supply requirements. You will utilize SAP or ERP/MRP scheduling tools to manage and optimize the production schedule and participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&O) meetings, facilitating cross‑functional collaboration to align production plans with business goals. By analyzing demand and supply data, you will create accurate production forecasts and schedules while implementing and refining demand/supply planning processes to enhance efficiency and responsiveness. Using advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Excel and MS Project, you will generate reports and perform data analysis to support decision‑making. You will communicate effectively with various stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on scheduling and production status. Additionally, you will apply problem‑solving skills to identify and address scheduling conflicts, material shortages, and other production issues. Lastly, you will maintain accurate scheduling records and ensure data integrity within scheduling tools.
