EOG Resources in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Crude Oil Scheduler to coordinate and execute crude oil movements via pipelines and our export terminal. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Energy, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of crude oil scheduling, logistics, or operations; Gulf Coast and/or Permian experience preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Allegro or similar systems a plus.
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities; able to coordinate across internal teams and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily crude oil movements across pipelines and terminals.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage nominations throughout the scheduling cycle.
  • Communicate with pipelines, terminals, truck logistics coordinator and counterparties to execute movement plans.
  • Monitor and track volumes to ensure timely deliveries and flow assurance.
  • Support monthly settlement, including volume reconciliation, ticket validation, and invoice review.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to volumes, measurement, and scheduling variances.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all schedules, movements, and communications.
  • Respond to operational issues such as outages, delays, or scheduling conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Meet strict deadlines for nominations, scheduling cycles, and month-end close.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed to ensure continuity of operations.

Job description

Senior Crude Oil Scheduler will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of crude oil movements via pipeline systems and our crude oil export terminal. This role supports scheduling activities, nominations, and settlement processes while working closely with internal and external marketers, operations, and production groups to assist in forecasting and managing production levels in relation to sales and/or transportation. Work effectively with all customers, operations, measurement, accounting, legal, and land departments to resolve new and routine issues, staying apprised of regulatory issues, tariffs, and other matters affecting contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily crude oil movements across pipelines and terminals to support sales and production activities
  • Prepare, submit, and manage nominations, including timely adjustments throughout the scheduling cycle
  • Communicate directly with pipelines, terminals, truck logistics coordinator and counterparties to execute movement plans
  • Monitor and track volumes to ensure timely deliveries and flow assurance
  • Support monthly settlement, including volume reconciliation, ticket validation, and invoice review
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to volumes, measurement, and scheduling variances
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all schedules, movements, and communications

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Energy, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Requires minimum 5+ years of experience in crude oil scheduling, logistics, or operations; U.S. Gulf Coast and/or Permian experience preferred
  • Exceptional MS Office skills, particularly excel and PowerPoint; experience with Allegro or similar systems is a plus
  • Required to have multi-tasking abilities to prioritize effectively and efficiently
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate across internal teams and external partners
  • Demonstrates a sense of ownership and urgency in completing assigned tasks in time-sensitive situations
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and be self-motivated and enthusiastic in learning all duties assigned
  • Exceptional oral and written communication is required
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
