We are building a Marketing Operations Center of Excellence to serve Amazon Shipping and Amazon Freight, two high-growth externalized transportation businesses. As a foundational member of this team, we are looking for an innovative Senior Marketing Operations Manager who will work closely across the global marketing teams to continuously improve processes, drive execution excellence, and deliver marketing results. We are looking for a data-driven, passionate individual who will influence marketing programs and the way the global marketing team streamlines processes and creates automation to increase marketing efficiency.

You are the ideal candidate if you can:

  1. Work at both the strategic and tactical level to champion innovative automation and create a vision for long- and short-term marketing operations requirements.
  2. Gather detailed business requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders (marketing, tech teams, etc.) and collaborate closely to deliver global solutions.
  3. Leverage automation to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.
  4. Manage multiple projects gracefully and balance contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
Key job responsibilities
  1. Partner with our global marketing teams to identify automation opportunities in order to improve marketing efficiencies.

  3. Collaborate in developing and continuously optimizing lead scoring and management processes.
  4. Plan and build scalable reporting mechanisms in Salesforce.com and QuickSight to provide visibility into marketing results and effectiveness.
  5. Perform marketing efficiency tracking, ensuring KPIs are in place to measure success.
  6. Develop standardized processes and programs that allow marketing team members to self-serve in the creation of complex, multi-stage automated marketing programs.
  7. Collaborate with sales operations on enhancing and troubleshooting issues with the lead management process and integrations with marketing automation platforms.
  8. Build and scale practices internationally, launch new features, suggest new investments.
  9. Write narratives that clearly breakdown our business problems with the support of data and provide recommendations for solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  2. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  3. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  4. Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  5. Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
  6. Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
  7. Experience with central sales tools (e.g. Salesforce) and/or marketing automation systems (e.g. Pardot/Marketo), including setting up end-to-end Marketing Automation data flows.
  8. Familiarity with SQL; experience with analytical tools such as Quicksight and ability to dive deep into and create metrics and reporting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Motivated self-starter who flourishes in ambiguous, complex, and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business.
  2. Ability to manage multiple parallel projects, balance competing priorities, and meet tight timelines.
