The Middle Mile Marketing team is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Operations (Ops) Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our marketing efforts. The Senior Marketing Ops Manager specializing in Adobe Marketo will be responsible for partnering with marketing stakeholders on strategies aligned with overall business objectives, overseeing marketing operations, and driving scalable, data-driven marketing initiatives across Relay and AFP. They will play a pivotal role in enhancing our WW marketing technology, requiring a deep understanding of Marketo's capabilities and a strategic mindset to optimize its use across the marketing funnel. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining complex marketing automation workflows, developing lead scoring models, and creating personalized campaigns for diverse audiences. Ensuring data quality, maintaining compliance with international privacy regulations, and innovating marketing automation strategies are crucial. The role demands technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills to elevate marketing automation capabilities and deliver measurable results organization-wide.

Key job responsibilities

The ideal candidate must possess deep technical acumen and expertise in data pipeline architecture, governance frameworks, and systems integration. About the team

The Middle Mile Transportation organization develops complex software solutions to optimize freight movement across vendors, warehouses, and carriers, enhancing customer experience. Within Middle Mile, Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) supports entrepreneurs in starting and growing trucking businesses with training, local hiring, and growth opportunities. Relay Product & Tech provides technology to facilitate package movement within Amazon's global network. Our customers include carriers, drivers, and Amazon Transportation Services teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of professional marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Proficiency with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • 7+ years managing acquisition marketing or channel programs
  • 5+ years of experience with marketing automation tools/systems such as Marketo, Salesforce, and related analytics tools
  • Relevant experience in digital media marketing
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proven ability to influence others and manage projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with SQL or analytical tools for data analysis
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • Experience with large-scale marketing campaigns and cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of database structure, data hygiene, and analytics
  • Experience owning marketing automation platform governance
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies
  • Freight/transportation industry experience (preferred)
  • Ability to quantify ROI and manage complex processes across teams
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, or Marketo, and marketing analytics tools
  • Experience with CRM, segmentation, personalization, lead scoring, and grading
