RTX is seeking a qualified individual for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ to manage supplier quality efforts. The candidate will lead rapid resolution of supplier issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are completed with cross-functional teams.

Requires a STEM degree and 5+ years in Quality/Operations, with RCCA and DoD experience. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required. Onsite position with comprehensive benefits.

What You Will Do

• Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory, working with other quality functions and cross-functional teams.
• Represent supplier assurance as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier meetings, layered process assessments, and nonconforming material reviews.
• Analyze supplied material non-conformance metrics and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
• Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring accuracy of defect documentation, robust root-cause analysis, and corrective solutions are fully implemented.
• Assist with quarantine, containment and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical discipline
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and processes
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System
• Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
• Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery
• High computer proficiency, including skills working with SAP/ PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Six Sigma, Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.)

This position is on-site at our Tucson, AZ campus and does not provide relocation assistance.

This position is classified as: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Clearance Information

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
