GE Vernova in Wilmington, NC seeks a Sr Manufacturing Staff Manager, Uranium & Containers, to lead the commercial and operational management of the uranium portfolio and oversee the nuclear container fleet for shipping powder and fuel assemblies.

The Sr Manufacturing Staff Manage, Uranium & Containers, is a leader on the Nuclear Fuels staff responsible for the commercial and operational management of the company’s uranium portfolio and the comprehensive oversight of the nuclear container fleet. This role encompasses contract management with enrichers, uranium accounting for utility customers, and storage optimization. Furthermore, this position leads the strategic planning, maintenance, and lifecycle management of the fleet of nuclear containers required for shipping powder and fuel assemblies, ensuring readiness and meeting the requirements for new builds. This role ensures all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Business, or related field required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in nuclear fuels, uranium trading/management, and/or fuel cycle operations.
Experience with uranium enrichment, conversion, fabrication, or fuel supply contracts strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of the nuclear fuel cycle (mining, conversion, enrichment, fabrication, use, storage) and uranium material forms.
Demonstrated experience in contract administration, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder management.

The base pay range for this position is $122,600.00 - 204,400.00 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
