Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate, inspect, monitor, and troubleshoot production machinery and assembly equipment.
  • Follow SOPs, GMPs, and documented work instructions.
  • Monitor materials and assemble products to established specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections to meet quality requirements.
  • Load and unload products and materials from machines, carts, and dollies.
  • Package and label finished products according to specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy of packaging, labeling, and traceability.
  • Complete DHRs and production records accurately.
  • Read and maintain production and inventory records.
  • Use small hand tools and precision devices in manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety and quality assurance requirements.
  • Identify and report defects or quality concerns.
  • Suggest improvements to equipment, tools, processes, quality, and efficiency.
  • Develop proficiency across multiple product-line stations and adapt to schedule changes.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Support 5S and TPM initiatives.

Senior Manufacturing Operator – Cleanroom Manufacturing

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for safely operating manual and automated machinery to manufacture, assemble, package, and label high-quality products in a cleanroom environment. This role is responsible for following established work instructions, SOPs, GMPs, and quality standards to ensure products are manufactured accurately, safely, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Operate, inspect, monitor, and troubleshoot production machinery and assembly equipment.
  • Follow documented work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Monitor materials and assemble products according to established specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections to identify defects and ensure products meet quality requirements.
  • Load and unload products and materials from machines, carts, and dollies.
  • Package and label finished products according to established specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy of product packaging, labeling, and traceability.
  • Accurately complete Device History Records (DHRs), production records, and associated documentation.
  • Read, complete, and maintain accurate production and inventory records.
  • Use small hand tools and precision devices throughout the manufacturing and assembly process.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow all applicable safety and quality assurance requirements.
  • Identify and report product defects or other quality concerns.
  • Provide suggestions for improvements to equipment, tools, processes, quality, and efficiency.
  • Develop proficiency across multiple product-line stations while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • Perform a variety of production responsibilities to support scheduling flexibility and changing business needs.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and other staff.
  • Support department initiatives, including 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
Required Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–5 years of cleanroom experience in a regulated industry.
  • Experience following detailed work instructions, process documentation, and established procedures.
  • Ability to accurately complete production paperwork and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position working:

Monday–Thursday | 5:30 AM–4:00 PM

Occasional Friday and weekend work may be required based on production and business needs.

Work Environment

This position operates in both manufacturing and office environments. The employee will regularly work around manufacturing machinery, production equipment, and company products.

The position may also require the use of computers and standard office equipment for training, documentation, recordkeeping, and other production-related activities.

Employees are expected to follow all applicable cleanroom, safety, quality, SOP, and GMP requirements.

Physical Requirements

Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, including:

  • Frequently standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Stooping, reaching, handling materials, and performing repetitive hand movements.
  • Regularly using hands and fingers to handle products, components, tools, and equipment.
  • Frequently lifting and/or carrying up to 20 pounds.
  • Performing repetitive manufacturing and assembly activities for extended periods.
  • Communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
