Job Description Summary

Provides direction and engineering support for production, testing, and maintenance of a manufacturing operation. Provides engineering support to the shop floor. Tests manufactured products to maintain quality. Participates in the refinement of engineering systems and processes. Resolves or coordinates the resolution of complex technical issues on the assembly line and in the manufacturing process. Leads technical design, development, and process equipment testing for assigned products. Assists in the preparation of proposals on products for customers. Establishes processes to eliminate defects. Provides continuous improvement to manufacturing processes and product designs.

Job Description

• Desarrolla propuestas de compra de equipos de fabricación estudiando planes y compromisos de fabricación; evaluación de los procesos y requisitos de fabricación.
• Recomienda nuevos equipos de fabricación mediante la identificación de vendedores y equipos operativos, incluidos los dispositivos de control; evaluar las capacidades del equipo y la historia del servicio; evaluando el servicio y soporte del proveedor.
• Completa las proyecciones de costo de equipos analizando la inversión, beneficios y ahorros.
• Monitorea las instalaciones del equipo asesorando a las tripulaciones.
• Cumple con los requerimientos de producción diseñando modificaciones de equipos.
• Prepara a los operadores de equipos mediante la capacitación; proporcionando recursos de referencia y apoyo.
