Responsibilities
- Develops and updates process sheets, routings, and operation sketches.
- Designs production tooling and prepares programs for CNC machines using Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) systems as well as manual programming methods;
- Troubleshoots manufacturing operations and provides technical support to the manufacturing floor for production-related issues. Acts as the primary manufacturing liaison with Product Engineering, Accounting, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service departments;
- Evaluates manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement, increased efficiency and cost savings. Recommends and coordinates the implementation of process improvements;
- Coordinates the evaluation, justification, selection, and implementation of capital equipment on the manufacturing floor;
- Prepares cost estimates for the production of new, revised, or low-volume parts;
- Maintains and updates routing and Bill of Materials (BOM) data within the Management Information System;
- Supports facility engineering efforts by participating in plant layout development and preparation of plant layout drawings;
- Recommends and implements product design and specification changes to improve product quality and manufacturability;
- Designs and drafts production fixtures and tooling. Evaluates cutting tool requirements and implements appropriate tooling solutions;
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- The annual salary range for this position is $86,000 - $106,000
Basic Qualifications
- Five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Proficiency in EdgeCam or similar, working knowledge PTC Creo Elements/Direct Drafting and Siemens NX 3-D CAD applications;
- Manufacturing experience in metal cutting and CNC machining;
- Seven (7) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
