Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC in Spokane, WA, is seeking a Sr. Warehouse Operations Manager to lead Transportation, Receiving, Warehouse, and Inventory Control, ensuring efficient, compliant operations to meet manufacturing needs. You will oversee onsite and offsite warehouses, drive process improvements, and mentor a growing team.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain, you will coordinate with cross-functional departments, uphold safety standards, and manage supplier contracts and audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science required; 10 years of experience in lieu of degree accepted.
  • 5+ years related experience required.
  • Direct supervisory management experience required.
  • Complex automated technical systems knowledge required.
  • FDA Regulated Industry experience (cGMP operations) desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting skills.
  • Experience with SAP/ERP and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted; push/pull; prolonged standing.
  • <10% travel required for external trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the warehouse team across onsite and the offsite warehouses.
  • Provides leadership for Transportation, Receiving, Warehouse, Shipping, and Inventory Control Specialist personnel.
  • Lead the hiring, selection, onboarding and training of the new employees.
  • Coach, counsel and discipline staff, monitor performance and appraise results.
  • Ensure the warehouse team stays in compliance with current processes and changes.
  • Provides for safe working conditions and health and safety standards.
  • Act as a liaison between the warehouse team and other departments.
  • Approve invoices via APP system (invoices management system).
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations related to warehousing, material handling and shipping.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and KPI reporting.

Job Description:

The Sr. Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for the Management and effective execution of Transportation, Inventory Control, Receiving, Warehousing and Distribution Operations by implementing best practices and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures. Critical resource in the Supply Chain Leadership team and provide direction and process improvement in above mentioned functions. Ensuring all role functions are efficient and effective and meeting the production needs of manufacturing for the JHS facility in Spokane.

Reporting to the Sr. Director Supply Chain, the Sr. Warehouse Operations Manager oversees and provides the leadership to the operations of the onsite and offsite warehouses: Transportation, Receiving, Warehouse, Material staging, Material discard, Shipping, and Cycle counts.

  • Manage and lead the warehouse team across onsite and the offsite warehouses
  • Provides leadership for Transportation, Receiving, Warehouse, Shipping, and Inventory Control Specialist personnel.
  • Lead the hiring, selection, onboarding and training of the new employees
  • Coach, counsel and discipline staff, monitor performance and appraise results
  • Ensure the warehouse team stays in compliance of the current process, process changes and newly implemented changes
  • Provides for safe working conditions and practices in all areas of departmental control
  • Promote and educate a safe environment by educating staff on Health and Safety standards
  • Act as a prime liaison between the warehouse team and other departments
  • Approve invoices via APP system (invoices management system)
  • Lead and mentor continue process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations related to warehousing, material handling and shipping
  • Ensure the inventory accuracy
  • Develops and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Budgets and controls expenditures, including proposals for the capital equipment requests.
  • Contributes to inventory control by ensuring receiving, warehouse, and shipping activities are performed per procedure and inventory levels reconcile with SAP.
  • Responsible for department SOP writing, modification, and adherence.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership on carrier contracts and relevant services contract management as well as relevant vendor performance evaluations
  • Responsible for providing both regulatory and client tours during audits and for being relied upon as the area expert in dealing with questions during client or regulatory audits.

  • Experience providing analysis, diagnosis or production tasks to noticeably impact end results required.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted required.
  • Pushing/pulling required for warehouse related work required.
  • Prolonged standing required.
  • <10% travel required; some for external trainings
Location: Spokane, WA - On Site, Full-Time
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
