SpaceX in Austin, TX is seeking a Sr. Manager, Tax to lead cost segregation studies and depreciation, identify tax credits, and coordinate with external advisors. The role partners with the Director of Tax on project planning, compliance, and strategic tax opportunities.
You will drive process improvements, stay current on legislation (e.g., Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS Act), and collaborate across departments while travelling as needed. Onsite in Austin is required.

The Tax Sr. Manager will work closely with the Director, Tax, and various projects, including cost segregation and fixed assets. The Sr. Tax Manager will identify, manage, and facilitate all aspects of the company's various tax planning projects, including cost segregation, fixed assets depreciation, tax credits, including planning, compliance, coordination with external tax consultants, staying up to date on legislation, coordination with various departments within the company, and various other responsibilities.
