Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing for Starlink in Redmond, WA. This role leads the electronic and electro-mechanical components strategy, builds a sourcing team, and aligns supplier capabilities with aggressive satellite program timelines.

You will collaborate across internal functions on market analysis, make/buy decisions, and supplier roadmaps while negotiating critical contracts and ensuring cost and delivery targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business.
• 7+ years of procurement or supplier management experience.
• Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical components procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead commodity strategy of electronic and electro-mechanical systems components
• Manage and develop a sourcing team, mentoring contributors and leaders
• Evaluate, assess, develop, and manage the supply base for rapid prototype to scalable production for satellite integration
• Develop and manage purchase plans for part inventory using MRP
• Administer and negotiate contracts including pricing, requirements, scope, and IP terms
• Collaborate with internal teams on sourcing strategy, market analysis, and supplier roadmaps
• Partner with stakeholders on RFx processes and cost targets
• Monitor and manage costs to ensure adherence to budgets and forecasts
