Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Global Supply Manager for the Starlink program. Based in Redmond, WA, you will lead the supply base, negotiate with key suppliers, and drive cost reduction while ensuring production readiness.

You will mentor a team, manage budgets, and collaborate across engineering, procurement, and operations to optimize value and delivery for multiple hardware platforms.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent with 9+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, materials or production planning, and supply chain management.
• Experience in cost control and supplier management across complex hardware programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the supply base to support sourcing for Starlink.
• Provide weekly team status reporting and management escalations.
• Train and mentor team to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with key suppliers on sourcing and cost management strategies.
• Engage internal stakeholders to support production readiness and cost control.
• Understand production equipment to identify cost, space, and process improvements using data analytics.
• Negotiate to maximize value, control costs, and align with budgets.
• Build and own project budgets and capitalization plans based on timelines.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, and category analysis.
• Communicate equipment status and mitigation to management; adjust plans as needed.
• Develop sourcing strategies to reduce risk and improve on-time delivery and savings.
• Foster cross-functional relationships and present value propositions to executives.
