Job summary

Talbots is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the end-to-end development, sourcing, and production of Pants and Denim, collaborating with cross-functional teams and global vendors to ensure on-time delivery, cost targets, and quality standards.

You will manage global lead times, MOQs, and manufacturing capabilities, coach teams, and ensure compliance with U.S. regulations and safety guidelines. This is an on-site role at our Hingham, MA office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years in the industry.
• Experience in Knits and/or Wovens.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong critical-thinking with a results- and service-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development, sourcing, and production of Pants and Denim from design inception to order placement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and global vendors to meet on-time, on-cost, and quality targets.
• Create and manage time-and-action calendars with milestones, lead times, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate costs, analyze cost sheets, and identify cost-competitive alternatives.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements and vendor guidelines.
