About The Team

READI (Reliability, Efficiency, Availability, Defense & Integrity) is the Prime Video organization chartered to keep one of the world’s largest streaming services fast, efficient, resilient, and trustworthy. We sit at the intersection of infrastructure, operations, and customer trust — the team that ensures Prime Video scales for every tentpole launch and live event, spends every infrastructure dollar wisely, and protects customer data by design.

This role anchors three of READI’s most strategic charters — scale forecasting and capacity assurance, infrastructure efficiency across core compute and AI infrastructure, and privacy engineering. You will lead a team of managers and senior engineers, and partner daily with Prime Video service teams, AWS, Finance, Legal, Security, and central Privacy. The work is high-visibility and high-impact: our decisions show up in customer experience during the biggest moments of the year, in Prime Video’s cost structure, and in the trust customers place in how we handle their data.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• 12+ years of engineering experience
• 12+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
