The role oversees scale forecasting, capacity assurance, and privacy engineering for Prime Video’s vast compute and AI infrastructure from Seattle, guiding multi-year strategy and high-impact delivery.

Qualifications

5+ years of engineering team management experience.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
12+ years of engineering experience.
12+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience.
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Forecast demand and assure capacity across Prime Video infrastructure.
Develop multi-year capacity models aligning business growth with compute/storage/network needs.
Lead capacity reviews and readiness for live events with partner teams.
Build a data-driven forecasting practice using telemetry to improve accuracy.
Collaborate with AWS, Finance, PV service teams to secure capacity at right cost.
Define dashboards and escalation paths to ensure scalable performance.
