Reporting to the Director of Revenue Growth Management, this role will help lead the organization's approach to pricing, price-pack architecture, promotion strategy, trade investment, assortment, and mix optimization.

The Senior Manager will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Management, Business Units, Commercial Planning, and Analytics to identify growth opportunities, develop recommendations, and measure results.

Success in this role is defined not by the amount of analysis produced, but by the quality of commercial decisions and measurable business outcomes generated from that analysis. Performance is measured through improvements in net revenue realization, gross margin, trade productivity, promotional ROI/incrementality, pricing realization, assortment/mix productivity, customer economics, and realized value from identified RGM opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Pricing & Price-Pack Architecture
  • Develop recommendations for pricing and price-pack architecture across brands, products, channels, and customers.
  • Evaluate consumer value, competitive pricing, elasticity, margin requirements, and customer economics.
  • Model volume, revenue, margin, and mix implications of alternative pricing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize pack sizes, price points, channel architecture, and customer-specific pricing.
  • Measure marketplace response to pricing changes and recommend adjustments.
Promotion Strategy & Optimization
  • Develop promotional strategies across customers and brands, including optimal depth, frequency, timing, mechanics, and SKU participation.
  • Partner with analytics to evaluate lift, incrementality, cannibalization, post-promotion effects, ROI, and profitability.
  • Identify inefficient promotions and recommend opportunities to eliminate, modify, or redeploy investment.
  • Establish pre-event expectations and use post-event learning to continuously improve future promotional plans.
  • Develop customer-specific promotional guardrails and strategies.
Trade Investment & Customer Economics
  • Evaluate trade investment across customers, brands, programs, and activities.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales to understand customer-level economics and gross-to-net performance.
  • Develop recommendations to improve trade productivity while supporting revenue and share growth.
  • Establish appropriate investment guardrails, hurdle rates, and decision frameworks.
  • Support major customer decisions and negotiations with economic analysis and scenarios.
Assortment, Distribution & Mix
  • Partner with Category Management and Analytics to evaluate SKU productivity, distribution opportunities, assortment, and mix.
  • Quantify the revenue, margin, cannibalization, and incrementality implications of assortment changes.
  • Develop recommendations regarding SKU expansion, rationalization, pack architecture, and channel/customer mix.
  • Support customer selling strategies with financially grounded recommendations.
Commercial Performance & Decision Support
  • Identify the highest-value commercial questions requiring analysis.
  • Partner with Data Science/Business Insights to diagnose performance across pricing, promotion, distribution, velocity, trade, assortment, and mix.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Develop scenarios and business cases supporting major commercial decisions.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and risks and proactively recommend actions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as a strategic RGM partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Management, Commercial Planning, and BU leadership.
  • Establish common RGM methodologies and decision frameworks.
  • Influence decisions through rigorous fact-based recommendations.
  • Build broader organizational understanding of RGM principles and capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced business/analytical training preferred.
