Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Description

The Senior Events Manager, Retail & Wholesale is responsible for developing and executing a high-impact event strategy that strengthens brand positioning and enhances the premium shopping experience across North America. This role aligns brand storytelling with retail and wholesale activations, ensuring flawless execution of sophisticated, high-touch events. The manager collaborates closely with retail, CRM/client development, merchandising, and global teams to drive customer engagement and business growth through immersive brand experiences.

Requirements

  • Develop a regional retail and wholesale event strategy aligned with overall brand objectives and NCSA calendar/cultural moments.
  • Collaborate with retail, CRM/client development, and merchandising teams to ensure events enhance consumer engagement, VIP clienteling, and sell-through.
  • Establish clear KPIs to measure the impact of each activation, ensuring a focus on brand equity and business performance.
  • Ensure all events reflect brand sophistication, heritage, and exclusivity while resonating with North American audiences.
  • Work closely with HQ to develop and adapt event concepts that align with global brand identity while ensuring regional cultural relevance.
  • Modify and localize event guidelines to fit NCSA consumer expectations and retail landscapes.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all activations, from visual identity to guest experience.

Retail & Wholesale Activation Execution

  • Plan and execute bespoke boutique activations, VIP client experiences, and in-store events to enhance retail engagement and drive foot traffic.
  • Develop co-branded event strategies with key wholesale partners to reinforce premium brand positioning in department stores and multi-brand retailers.
  • Oversee seasonal trunk shows, exclusive previews, private shopping events, and pop-up activations.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the NCSA event budget, ensuring all activations deliver maximum ROI while maintaining brand prestige and quality standards.
  • Track expenses and optimize costs while upholding the brand’s luxury execution standards.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage a network of high-quality vendors including caterers, set designers, entertainment providers, and event production teams.
  • Foster strong relationships with key retail and wholesale partners, ensuring seamless event integration into their marketing plans.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and service agreements, ensuring vendor accountability and high caliber execution.

Team & Project Management

  • Lead and motivate internal teams and cross-functional project teams (vendors, retail associates, and brand partners) to deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for retail store teams and wholesale partners on event execution, logistics, and brand messaging.

Logistics & Operations

  • Oversee all logistical aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of materials, seamless guest experiences, and flawless production.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure post-event follow-ups, including guest engagement, clienteling opportunities, and internal debriefs.

Post-Event Analysis & Reporting

  • Evaluate event success based on pre-defined KPIs, gathering feedback from guests, retail teams, and stakeholders.
  • Generate reports to inform future event strategies and business decisions.
  • Analyze event data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to continuously refine the luxury event experience.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential activations, retail marketing, or luxury brand management.
  • Proven track record of executing high-end retail activations and wholesale events.
  • Experience managing luxury clientele experiences, private shopping events, and co-branded activations.
  • Strong background in budget management, vendor negotiations, and logistics oversight.
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate with global teams, ensuring local events align with brand positioning and global guidelines.
  • Deep understanding of luxury retail, client behavior, and brand experience expectations.
  • Elevated/Premium Event Execution: Ability to deliver high-touch, experiential activations that embody brand exclusivity.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align event programming with broader retail and brand objectives.
  • Creative Innovation & Outside-the-Box Thinking: Strong ability to conceptualize and execute unique, unexpected, and culturally relevant event experiences that differentiate the brand.
  • Project & Budget Management: Strong organizational and financial acumen to optimize resources.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations: Experience in curating and managing best-in-class event production teams.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Strong collaboration with internal teams, retail stores, and wholesale accounts.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to assess event performance through KPI tracking and insights.
