Location:

Remote (preferred in Goleta, CA or Portland, OR). Must reside in approved states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager of Quality Operations supports product quality across all Deckers brands and markets. This role is part of the newly created Global Quality Operations team, focusing on maintaining and improving product quality during the company's growth phase.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Issue Management: Develop tools and processes for tracking and resolving quality issues; lead root cause analysis; ensure cross-functional communication.
2. Performance Measurement & KPIs: Define quality indicators, establish dashboards, and analyze data to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
3. Consumer-Centric Advocacy: Capture and analyze consumer feedback; translate insights into quality improvements.
4. Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies, implement best practices, and leverage digital tools for predictive quality management.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with global teams, provide insights to leadership, and foster a high-performance quality culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Data Science, or related field.
• 10+ years in Quality Operations, Product Integrity, or Manufacturing, preferably in footwear, apparel, or accessories industries.
• Expertise in quality management systems, issue resolution, and KPI development.
• Experience with consumer insights, global compliance, data analytics, and digital tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, or similar methodologies.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $160,000 - $170,000, with competitive bonuses, health and wellness programs, development opportunities, and employee discounts.
