Job summary

FDH Aero in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Sr. Manager, Quality to lead the Quality Management System for the facility. You will supervise the quality team and manage relationships with suppliers and customers, requiring aerospace quality system expertise and strong leadership.

The role includes overseeing audits, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 standards, IPC-620, and related regulatory requirements. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System.
• Understanding of IPC-620 (Wire Harness Manufacturing).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance to AS9100 and ISO 9001 Standards.
• Champion the development and deployment of all quality projects within the company.
• Act as the Management Representative which oversee the QMS health.
• Exhibit strong leadership, communication and critical thinking skills while leading the QA department toward goals.
• Oversees internal and external audits and root-cause analysis based on the AS Standard.
• Further develop the QMS, implement, manage, and integrate for continuous improvement.
• Design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, and inspection.
• Oversee IPC-620 and IPC-JST-001 training programs.
• Communicate with customer and supplier quality representatives on quality issues.
• Establish and implement metrics for monitoring system effectiveness and quality performance.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and procedures.
• Perform surveillance, support source inspections, and first article inspections.
• Maintain supplier development efforts, and establish a strong supplier quality program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Sr. Manager, Quality, will be responsible for the Quality Management System for the facility. This role will supervise the quality team and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers. This position requires a positive, high energy, meticulous, knowledge and experience working with aerospace quality systems.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Maintain compliance to AS9100 and ISO 9001 Standards

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and procedures
• Perform surveillance, support source inspections, and first article inspections and monitor the inspection system performance throughout the organization
• Maintain supplier development efforts, and establish a strong supplier quality program
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Leadership
• Efficient computer skills and Microsoft Office 360 Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience creating high performance teams
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Understand requirements of IPC-620 (Wire Harness Manufacturing)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
