The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology has an exciting opportunity for a full‑time Senior Manager, Programs to work hybrid in Miami.

The Sr. Manager, Programs oversees the day‑to‑day administrative management of assigned program(s) within the department and works to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives. The incumbent operates with the goal of delivering high quality programs to the University faculty and staff and other key stakeholders. Furthermore, the Sr. Manager, Programs serves as the liaison to leadership, faculty, students, and staff.

  9. Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures. Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.
CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required

Department‑Specific Functions

A Sr. Manager, Programs is needed for the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The department offers several educational programs including an Executive PhD, a master’s program with several tracks to include; an industry track, a traditional research track, a MS online, a MS/MBA and a MS AI track. The incumbent will manage all programs. Will develop an overarching educational strategic plan along with recruitment strategies for all programs that will meet departmental and institutional goals. The right individual will oversee the educational staff of the department, develop and maintain budgets for all programs, marketing, and data analysis to attract and retain a diverse student body. Key duties include developing enrollment plans, managing staff, analyzing trends, managing budgets, and collaborating across departments to optimize the student lifecycle from inquiry to onboarding. Will develop collaborations with industry partners that will benefit current, future and alumni.

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive enrollment management strategies, including recruitment, retention, and marketing plans.
  • Leadership & Management: Supervise, mentor, and manage daily operations and staff performance.
  • Recruitment & Marketing: Oversee outreach to prospective students, families, and feeder schools, leveraging technology and traditional methods.
  • Data & Analytics: Use data and predictive analytics to forecast enrollment, track KPIs (e.g., application volume, conversion rates), and inform decision‑making.
  • Budget & Operations: Create and manage enrollment and financial aid budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources. Provide Financial reports to department Chair and SAO as well as the individual Program Directors.
  • Collaboration: Partner with other departments (marketing, academics, student life, advancement) for cross‑functional success.
  • Reporting: Communicate progress and strategy to senior leadership and boards.
