McKesson Corporation is seeking a strategic Operations Partner for The US Oncology Network. The role connects regional priorities with practice-level execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams to translate plans into action and delivering measurable outcomes across a large network.

You will align practice operating plans with network goals, manage multiple initiatives, and drive continuous improvements using AI-powered tools and modern project-tracking platforms.

Formación

TheUS Oncology Network(The Network)is one of the largest community oncology networks in the country-supporting over 1,400 physicians across 600+ sites of care. Practice Enablement is a newlyestablishedfunction designed to power the next evolution of howThe Networkoperates.Itrepresents a strategic investment in howTheNetwork plans, prioritizes, and executes its most important work-embeddingdedicated operational support toenable precision in planning, consistency inexecution, and scalabilityacross practices.

Role Summary

This role serves as a key operational partner bridging strategic priorities with practice-level execution acrossThe US Oncology Network. Working alongside Regional SVPs, Finance Directors, Strategic Operations,and other cross-functional stakeholders,this position ensures that practice operating plans are built, maintained, and translated into coordinated action - connecting the right people, information, and resources at the right time.This role blends strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and operational project management. The focus is not on managing projects in isolation, but on enabling the infrastructure that allows regional teams and practices to plan proactively, execute consistently, and follow through on commitments.This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, operating in a highly matrixed environmentwhile engaged with opportunities toworkwith many practices within an assigned region.If you're energized by fast-moving, matrixed environments and thrive when connecting people, priorities, and plans - this role was built for you.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Alignment: Partner with practice management leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to build, maintain, and prioritize practice operating plans that reflect both network-wide goals and local needs.

Project & Initiative Management: Own tracking and coordination of active initiatives within assigned practices. This includes developing and maintaining project plans with clear milestones, owners, and timelines, monitoring execution progress, flagging dependencies, and escalating risks before they become blockers.

Intake & Prioritization: Receive and evaluate incoming requests, assess fit and urgency within existing plans in collaboration with pertinent stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the bridge between leadership and supporting functions (strategic operations, finance, technology, revenue cycle, etc.), ensuring alignment, clear communication, and smooth handoffs.

Stakeholder Communication: Prepare clear, actionable updates for leadership that reflect where things stand, what's at risk, and what needs attention.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and optimize workflows by leveraging the latest tools and resources (AI, Project Planning Tools, CRM Systems).

Education & Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. PMP, CAPM, or similar certification highly desired.

Critical Skills

7+years of experience in business operations, project coordination, consulting, or healthcare services.

Demonstrated experience managing complex projects or workstreams with multiple stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing business needs.

Self-starter mindset with a bias toward action.

Proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet) and reporting workflows.

Proficiency in MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, Teams, Copilot, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Experience supporting or driving change management.

Comfort adopting new digital tools, including AI-assisted productivity capabilities, to improve efficiency and deliverable quality.

Healthcare services or practice operationsexperience.

Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar).

Work Environment

Fully remote work environment.

Able to travel domestically 15% of the time.

If the selected candidate lives within a 50-mile radius of our Irving, TX Office location, the expectation will be that the Employee will have a hybrid schedule and be required to work on-site a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $112,700 - $187,800
