Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Director, Business Systems to lead technology strategy and a portfolio supporting HR, Contracts, Compliance/Speak Up, and Facilities. You will partner with senior leaders to translate business priorities into scalable technology solutions and own strategy, roadmap, delivery, and governance.

The role drives automation, AI, analytics, and self-service, builds strong vendor partnerships, and leads a high-performing team across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 10+ years leading teams and/or enterprise programs, including setting strategy, defining metrics, managing budgets, and driving execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Significant progressive experience leading enterprise technology, business applications, or digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex technology portfolios and large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience developing technology strategies and roadmaps in partnership with senior business leaders.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, integrations, data, security, architecture, and application lifecycle management.
  • Strong financial, vendor, portfolio, and people leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Director, Business Systems to lead the technology strategy and portfolio supporting critical enterprise business functions, including Human Resources, Contracts, Compliance/Speak Up, and Facilities. This role will serve as a strategic technology partner to business leaders, translating business priorities into modern, scalable technology solutions. The Senior Director will own the strategy, roadmap, delivery, integration, and ongoing evolution of these platforms while driving simplification, automation, strong governance, and an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Our Base Pay Range for this position $181,500 - $302,500
  • The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
  • In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
