Delek US Holdings in Tyler, TX seeks a Sr Manager to lead planning and scheduling for maintenance across refinery operations. You will guide maintenance planning, turnaround execution, and capital projects to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance.

The role requires extensive maintenance leadership experience in refining or manufacturing, with strong budgeting and team-building capabilities. On-site position with a focus on safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• In lieu of education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Two or more years maintenance leadership experience required.
• Eight or more years maintenance experience in refining, industrial, or manufacturing settings required.
• No licensure or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads the activities of the Maintenance Team to meet safety, reliability, and cost goals of the refinery.
• Leads environmental compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Oversees maintenance budgets and annual maintenance plans.
• Supervises, coaches and mentors maintenance supervisors and planners/schedulers on priorities, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborates with Production Leadership to set department objectives and strategies.
• Tracks department scorecards and backlog maintenance metrics.
• Ensures training for supervision and craftsmen.
• Verifies that maintenance work includes quality documentation and procedures.
• Supports turnaround and unit shutdown planning and execution with scope development and commissioning support.
• Manages preventive and predictive maintenance activities and programs.
• Controls overtime and approves requisitions within delegated authority.
• Facilitates post-shutdown critique meetings and follows up on actions.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides leadership, direction and strategies for maintenance function consisting primarily of maintenance planning, routine maintenance, turnaround planning/execution and capital/expense projects. Actively participates in labor-management committees (where appropriate) and in developing and strategic/operational plans and budgets. Leadership accountability for safe, environmentally sound and reliable operations of Maintenance department.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Two (2) or more years maintenance leadership (Required)
• Eight (8) or more years experience in maintenance within a refining, industrial or manufacturing facility (Required)

• Manages and leads the activities of the Maintenance Team to ensure process safety, safety, environmental, reliability, and cost goals of the refinery are achieved
• Implements and manages the environmental requirements ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and rules
• Leads steward for site maintenance budget and annual maintenance plan
• Supervises, coaches and mentors maintenance supervisors and planners/schedulers on maintenance priorities and schedules, policies and procedures, employee relations and work activities
• Collaborates with Production Leadership to set maintenance department objectives and strategies
• Develops and tracks department scorecard matrix of maintenance department’s goals, objectives, and strategies
• Develops matrix for backlog Maintenance work
• Ensures proper training of supervision and craftsmen
• Ensures that all maintenance work includes quality documentation, including procedures, checklists and/or job plans, signed off by maintenance and production supervision
• Supports turnaround and unit shutdown planning and execution through active participation in scope development, providing justification for work items, and providing support during commissioning of equipment, shutdown/startup, and outage timeframe
• Manages preventative and predictive maintenance activities, procedures, and programs
• Approves requisitions and contract service authorizations within the Delegation of Authority limits
• Responsible for controlling overtime worked to minimize budget impact
• Primarily responsible for facilitating Post Shut-down Critique meeting and following up on Post-Shutdown Critique meeting assignments
