Role Description The Sr Manager or Director of Quality will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems and standards across FTC Solar’s products and services. This full-time, on-site role in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area involves overseeing quality assurance and control processes, establishing metrics, and driving corrective and preventive actions to ensure consistent product reliability and performance. The role includes designing and executing quality audit programs, assessing supplier quality, and partnering with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to embed quality into new product introductions and ongoing production. This leader will manage quality documentation, ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements, and provide data-driven reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
