Program Manager II – NPI Supply Chain Operations

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid – Tuesday to Thursday Onsite)

Duration: 6+ Month Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager II to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Supply Chain Operations for complex hardware programs. This role will serve as the key link between Product Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, and external manufacturing partners to ensure successful product builds, production ramp readiness, and lifecycle transitions from concept through mass production.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in NPI operations, material readiness, supplier and contract manufacturer management, allocation planning, and supply risk mitigation within hardware manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support cross-functional NPI programs from concept through production ramp.
  • Drive material readiness activities to ensure successful engineering and production builds.
  • Manage allocation delivery, component availability, and supply continuity across programs.
  • Track and coordinate second-source qualification activities to reduce supply chain risk.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, and external suppliers to ensure program readiness.
  • Manage Contract Manufacturer (CM), ODM, and JDM relationships to support build execution and production ramp.
  • Monitor and mitigate supply risks, shortages, and material constraints impacting program schedules.
  • Drive manufacturing ramp readiness, including BOM readiness, capacity planning, quality, reliability, assembly, and test readiness.
  • Coordinate product lifecycle transitions from NPI through mass production.
  • Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Track key program milestones, KPIs, and operational metrics to ensure successful execution.
  • Support multiple hardware programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Program Management, Supply Chain Program Management, or Operations Program Management experience.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and production ramp activities.
  • Experience working directly with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), ODMs, or JDMs.
  • Strong understanding of material readiness, allocation management, supplier management, and supply planning.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating supply chain risks and shortages.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive program execution.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting networking, optics, server, storage, or cloud infrastructure hardware products.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, BOM management, capacity planning, and production readiness.
  • Experience managing global suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management and hardware development processes.
