  • Monitor backlog and ensure Major Project Tool is up to date; report progress to leadership.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings and share best practices across the PM network.
  • Oversee internal continuous improvement projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with national operations VPs and field teams during bid and award processes.

Responsible for driving the successful execution and continuous improvement of large-scale elevator construction and modernization projects exceeding $5M. This role partners closely with national sales, operations, and project management teams to support estimating, sales strategy, contract review, forecasting, and project governance activities that improve project performance and increase sales success. The position serves as a key liaison between field operations, leadership, and customers, ensuring projects are effectively managed from bid through completion while promoting best practices, operational consistency, and continuous improvement across the Major Projects network. The ideal candidate brings extensive elevator industry project management experience, strong financial and technical acumen, and the ability to lead complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Drive and implement the Major Projects Program
  • Support Major Project sales and operations teams on projects exceeding $5M with estimating, sales strategy, proposal creation, and customer presentations to increase the sales hit rate of Major Projects
  • Monitor and forecast project backlog
  • Ensure all major projects are setup in the Major Project Tool and are regularly updated
  • Ensure required meetings are being performed and reporting completed for all major projects
  • Participate and present at project management training events and support the PM network with best practice sharing, lessons learned, and continuous improvement suggestions
  • Manage assigned internal continuous improvement projects from initiation to completion
  • Support national operations VPs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Assist national and local Sales teams in all aspects of the bidding process
  • Participate and collaborate with National Area and local teams during the bid approval process
  • Engage in Major Project governance & reporting at HQ and keep leadership informed during all critical project phases
  • Lead Major Project estimation through award on an as-needed basis EDUCATION &
EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of elevator project management experience and previous managerial experience
  • Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment and installation methods, and ability to lead installation crews
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
  • Overnight and extended travel is to be expected around 20%
