Job summary

Delek US Holdings in Big Spring, TX seeks a Sr Manager of Maintenance to lead planning, routine maintenance, turnaround planning and capital projects. You will drive safety, reliability and cost goals for the refinery and supervise the maintenance team.

The role requires extensive experience in refinery maintenance, strong leadership, and collaboration with production. On-site leadership, adherence to OSHA and environmental standards, and hands-on oversight of preventive and predictive programs

Qualifications

• Two or more years of maintenance leadership experience.
• Eight or more years of maintenance experience in a refining, industrial or manufacturing facility.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides leadership, direction and strategies for maintenance function consisting primarily of maintenance planning, routine maintenance, turnaround planning/execution and capital/expense projects. Actively participates in labor-management committees (where appropriate) and in developing and strategic/operational plans and budgets. Leadership accountability for safe, environmentally sound and reliable operations of Maintenance department.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Two (2) or more years maintenance leadership (Required)
• Eight (8) or more years experience in maintenance within a refining, industrial or manufacturing facility (Required)

• Develops and tracks department scorecard matrix of maintenance department's goals, objectives, and strategies
• Develops matrix for backlog Maintenance work
• Ensures proper training of supervision and craftsmen
• Ensures that all maintenance work includes quality documentation, including procedures, checklists and/or job plans, signed off by maintenance and production supervision
• Supports turnaround and unit shutdown planning and execution through active participation in scope development, providing justification for work items, and providing support during commissioning of equipment, shutdown/startup, and outage timeframe
• Manages preventative and predictive maintenance activities, procedures, and programs
• Approves requisitions and contract service authorizations within the Delegation of Authority limits
