Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Sr Manager of IT for a direct hire role in South Florida. You will lead Infrastructure teams focusing on networking, cloud, and servers, with 8–10 direct reports and vendor management for MSP engagements.

The ideal candidate has a technical background in network or systems engineering and has progressed to leading teams and projects tied to modernization and cloud adoption using Azure, EntraID, and O365.

Qualifications

• BS Degree preferred in an IT-related field.
• Relevant industry certifications (CCNP, Security+, CISSP, Azure) strongly preferred.
• Experience leading technical teams and projects on network modernization and cloud adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead Infrastructure teams of 8–10 direct reports on networking, cloud, and servers.
• Oversee vendor management for technology consulting services and MSP engagements.
• Drive network modernization and cloud/serverless adoption in the Microsoft stack (Azure, EntraID, O365).

Job description

10+ years of progressive technology experience focusing on network engineering, systems administration, and cloud technologies.

5 years of experience of technology team leadership and managerial experience, ability to be proactive and lead projects forward.

Experience leading teams amidst network modernization efforts, ideally with Palo Alto, Palo Alto Prisma, Palo Alto CASB, or similar cloud based firewall security experience. The ideal candidate will have prior experience implementing these tools.

Experience leading Cloud and SaaS initiatives and teams , experience with MS o365, EntraID, etc.

Experience with Cloud - Azure or AWS

Vendor Management experience for technology solutions providers - Cloud and/or Security

Strong Communication Skills - both written and verbal

Prior experience leading, training, developing , and motivating a team.

The ideal candidate will have started their career in a technical capacity, ideally within network engineering or systems engineering, and will have progressed to leading and managing a team and leading projects tied to network modernization and cloud and serverless adoption in Microsoft based technology stack leveraging Azure, EntraID, and o365.
