Job summary

Lennar in Miami seeks a Sr. Manager, Human Resources to serve as a trusted HR business partner for HR4HR.

You will partner with senior HR leaders to drive talent, culture, performance, and associate engagement across the function. You will coach leaders, shape workforce planning, design organizational changes, and ensure compliant, data-driven HR solutions across Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, HR Operations, and HRIS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
  • 5-7 years HR experience with business partnering and engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of EEO, ADA, FMLA, LOA.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven coaching and mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with sound judgment.

We are seeking a collaborative, strategic, and culture-focused Sr. Manager, Human Resources to serve as a trusted HR Business Partner for HR4HR, the team responsible for delivering HR programs and support to Lennar's own HR organization. In this role, you will partner closely with senior HR leaders, including Directors, Sr. Directors, Vice Presidents, and the CHRO, to drive talent, culture, performance, organizational effectiveness, and associate engagement initiatives across the function.


Your Responsibilities on the Team
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leaders on talent, culture, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and associate relations.
  • Partner with senior HR leadership, including the CHRO and HR Leadership Team, on strategic people initiatives and business priorities.
  • Coach and counsel leaders and people managers on performance management, leadership effectiveness, change management, and talent development.
  • Navigate complex and highly sensitive associate matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Champion the development and upskilling of HR talent through coaching, development planning, succession management, and targeted learning opportunities.
  • Drive engagement, retention, recognition, and organizational health initiatives across the HR function.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, team restructures, and change management efforts aligned with business priorities.
  • Use workforce data and insights to identify trends, anticipate risks, and inform recommendations.
  • Partner across Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, HR Operations, and HRIS to deliver integrated HR solutions.
  • Partner with Communications to shape and deliver key HR communication rhythms, including HR town halls, monthly CHRO updates, and other enterprise HR forums.
  • Champion Agentic HR capabilities and AI tool adoption across the HR organization.
  • Help ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment laws, company policies, and established standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal and state employment law (EEO, ADA, FMLA, LOA) and ensure HR practices remain compliant.
Your Toolbox
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of HR experience, with a focus on business partnering, performance management, coaching, talent development, and associate engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and LOA.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and sound judgment handling confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at the Director, Sr. Director, and VP level.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, HR Operations, and HRIS teams.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
