Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Healthcare Channel Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth through managing existing healthcare practitioner accounts and developing new business opportunities. This role encompasses both managing and growing key sales relationships with healthcare platform customers like Fullscript / Emerson / Natural Partners, and on 1:1 selling directly to healthcare practitioners, while working to implement strategic sales initiatives and fostering strong customer relationships.

You will report to the VP Marketing & Sales, ecoNugenics, and work with the cross-functional team across marketing, supply chain, and product innovation, to develop and execute our Sales Plan. While a significant focus will be on accelerating the ecoNugenics brand with HCPs, there are other brands within the Bridges portfolio that will have opportunities for growth in this space as well. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the US, requiring approximately 10% - 20% travel for team/account meetings.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute growth strategies to promote and sell Bridges’ products to healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Monitor sales figures diligently, proactively identifying any declining trends or potential risks
- Oversee sales forecasting and planning processes
- Manage and maintain the forecasting process for the assigned channels, ensuring accurate predictions
- Provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to executive leadership
Account Management & Development
- Support the sales and business development of assigned accounts (new and existing)
- Manage organic sales growth of top accounts and identify opportunities for expansion
- Lead the onboarding process for new accounts, ensuring all documentation and contracts are properly executed
- Manage bulk and wholesale accounts, fostering strong relationships and ensuring efficient handling
- Develop and implement strategies to address issues promptly to retain and re-engage customers experiencing sales decline
- Successfully initiate contact with potential new accounts monthly
Relationship Building & Communication
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare practitioners, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Establish and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and industry stakeholders
- Conduct product education sessions effectively, communicating technical product information
- Utilize strong sales skills to overcome objections, address concerns, and manage issues
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows and conferences to build brand awareness
- Follow up with leads from events, collecting necessary documentation and managing onboarding
Systems & Process Management
- Lead selection, implementation, and manage of a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Maintain data accuracy and implement best practices to maximize CRM effectiveness
- Drive excellence in sales processes and methodologies to maximize efficiency
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports
- Oversee/manage healthcare practitioner website ensuring it is an effective educational tool
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective collateral and strategies that support account growth
- Partner with marketing team to develop creative assets required for healthcare professional efforts
- Provide feedback to product team regarding new formula ideas and offerings
- Work closely with Operations to ensure fulfillment rate expectations are met
- Maintain distributor relations and ensure effective onboarding of new product innovations
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven track record in consultative sales, strong preference for experience in the vitamins, supplements, or nutraceuticals categories
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets independently
- Strong understanding of both healthcare platform customer and individual healthcare practitioners' needs, including functional medicine, integrative health, and nutritional therapies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to manage a complex sales pipeline and follow up effectively
- Experience with CRM software and virtual sales tools
- Knowledge of the professional healthcare supplement market
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in health sciences, nutrition, business, or related field
- 5+ years of sales management experience in relevant industries
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives
