Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager to lead the Worldwide Technical Business Development team for Storage and Data Protection within the Worldwide Specialist Organization. In this role, you will own the end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) strategy for AWS's Storage and Data Protection services by driving adoption, revenue growth, and customer success at a global scale. As a leader within the World Wide Specialists Organization, you will build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of Technical Business Development specialists who combine technical expertise with strategic business acumen. You will define customer segmentation strategies, develop compelling solution positioning, plan demand generation programs, and deliver initiatives that accelerate the Storage and Data Protection business across all customer segments and geographies. You will work cross-functionally with AWS service teams, Solutions Architecture, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Partner organizations, and executive leadership to translate customer insights into product roadmap influence, scale successful GTM motions through field enablement and partner ecosystems, and establish AWS as the undisputed leader in cloud storage and data protection.
The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the world's largest and most innovative companies. We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business-critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist solutions architecture, and technical field community roles.
