Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance

Reporting to the VP, Growth and Insights, the Sr Mgr., Growth and Insights will partner with the University's enrollment, advising, and product management teams – as well as Adtalem's centralized marketing, customer experience, and workforce solutions teams to:

  • Develop data-driven insights that can drive short and long-term strategies for growth.
  • Support and lead high-impact, cross-functional growth projects directly related to Walden's transformation.
  • Conduct analysis to monitor and assess project/initiative performance.

In this role, the Sr Mgr. will be key in supporting the University, its executive team, and functional leaders in growing the institution and increasing market share. The Sr Mgr. will partner with the team to help drive revenue, enrollment growth, market share, persistence, and gross margin improvements. Additionally, the Sr Mgr. will track and derive insights from leading indicators such as lead volume, website performance, conversion rates, retention rates, student satisfaction, and program profitability.

The ideal candidate should think strategically while supporting and driving results, with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate insights into action. A background in digital education or a similar industry, along with a bias for action and speed, will be advantageous to enhance the University's competitiveness and growth.

Responsibilities

The Sr Manager will have broad responsibilities, including:

  • Developing strategies for high-impact growth initiatives, including prioritization, diligence, risk assessment, and business case development.
  • Leading initial execution of strategic opportunities in an agile manner, collaborating with relevant teams and functions.
  • Monitoring execution success through KPIs and core outcomes, and transitioning ownership of successful initiatives.
  • Refining and developing dashboards to track performance against targets, fostering performance management across teams.
  • Creating business intelligence tools and ad hoc reports to support strategic projects.
  • Conducting ad-hoc analyses to optimize enrollment, retention, and pricing.
  • Performing other duties as assigned and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree (MBA preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience, including success in growth-oriented environments such as management consulting, private equity, or high-growth companies, preferably in higher education.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow revenue, sustain double-digit growth, and deliver growth in B2B and B2C contexts, with experience in market analysis and product development.
  • Strong collaboration skills within complex organizations, self-motivation, and a metrics-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a passion for making a measurable impact.

Additional Information

The expected salary range is $80,336.75 to $140,851.54, with actual pay based on experience, location, and other factors.
