Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis for the Peacock streaming business. You will build dynamic financial models, analyze variances, and support planning cycles for accurate budgeting and pacing.

You will collaborate with Corporate FP&A and NBCU Media Group, prepare executive presentations, and manage a small team, all within a hybrid NY office setting with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Foster collaboration across Peacock teams for weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Prepare timely financial statements and variance analyses.
  • Assist in administering the BPC reporting tool and build managerial reports.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for senior management, including pacings and operating reviews.
  • Lead a team of 1, providing coaching and development.

Reporting to the Vice President of FP&A, this key role on the Peacock finance team is responsible for the planning and reporting of NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming business financial results. The role provides the unique opportunity to become a member of the NBCU Media Group, which includes the Peacock streaming business. The role will have the ability to gain an in-depth view and understanding of the Peacock streaming business and be an integral member of the team that is analyzing results and modeling future revenue and expenses in meeting the growth and expansion plans of the Peacock business.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis of NBCUniversal's Peacock business. Provide high level financial modeling and analysis and be well-versed in the creation of dynamic financial models. Must be analytical and business minded. Must be able to dig into the details to analyze and understand causes of budget/actual variances.
  • Own and manage the master planning file across all planning cycles, ensuring accuracy, timely updates, and continuous improvement through automation initiatives.
  • Assist in the Long Range Plan and Budget processes, including analyzing business unit operating plans and goals, reviewing budget proposals, and maintaining support files.
  • Aggregate financial and operational insights for NBCU's Corporate finance team in preparation of pacings and quarter closes.
  • Support Vice President, FP&A in preparing all Media Group and Corporate FP&A data request submissions on behalf of the Peacock business.
  • Foster collaboration and streamline processes across the internal Peacock teams to gather information and insights for weekly reporting and monthly financial pacing reports.
  • Ensure all financial statements and reports are prepared and presented in a timely manner, including income statements, balance sheets, cash-flow statements and variance analyses.
  • Assist in the ongoing administration of the BPC reporting tool. Utilize the tool to build push button reporting for managerial views and to consolidate submissions.
  • Help prepare PowerPoint presentations for senior management, including pacings, estimates, and operating reviews.
  • Manage a team of 1 individual, providing leadership, coaching, and development opportunities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of finance or accounting experience
  • Finance and accounting skills, including Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Experience with Executive Presentations
  • Solid familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP/BPC

Hybrid:

This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range:

$110,000 - $145,000 (bonus eligible)
