The Sr. Manager of Digital Marketing - Off-Premise is responsible for driving QDOBA’s digital delivery business and supporting digital marketing and experiences for catering. This role leads 1P and 3P delivery performance, guest experience, marketplace merchandising, media investment, partner promotions, invoicing accuracy, and cross-functional execution in a fast-moving, guest-focused environment. For catering, this role partners with the Catering Growth organization to bring that strategy to life across digital platforms, partner integrations, and marketing activations.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing, Promotions and Experiences (40%)
- Lead 1P and 3P delivery plans, including partner campaigns, marketplace merchandising, promotions, and digital guest experience improvements that highlight the menu, variety and value.
- Recommend and oversee 3P media investments, including budget pacing, performance tracking, invoice review, billing accuracy, and reconciliation with Finance and partner teams.
- Partner with Analytics, Media, Finance, and 3P partners to optimize spend, evaluate ROAS, and report on funded and co-funded campaigns.
- Ensure menu, pricing, offer, and merchandising accuracy across QDOBA app/web and aggregator platforms, supporting national marketing calendar and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Identify digital ordering friction and partner with Product and Technology to make ordering faster, easier, and more flexible for guests while improving conversion, order accuracy, and operator ease.
Delivery Strategy & Catering Digital Support (30%)
- Serve as the business owner and subject matter expert for digital delivery, bringing focus, accountability, and a bias for action to off-premise growth.
- Support the Catering Growth organization by enabling digital marketing and experience platform improvements, partner integrations, and marketing activations tied to catering priorities.
- Identify and test digital initiatives that improve guest experience, franchisee adoption, operational execution, and profitable growth.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with delivery and digital catering partners, including performance, promotions, issue resolution, and business reviews.
- Partner with Catering Growth, Operations, Technology, Product, Finance, Analytics, National Marketing, Guest Relations, franchisees, and external partners to align priorities and remove barriers.
- Provide regular updates on delivery performance, 3P media spend, invoicing status, partner results, catering digital support, risks, and recommendations.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams with clear timelines, owners, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Lead internal communications on digital off-premise initiatives, including leadership alignment, cross-functional project updates, system messaging, franchisee communications, and light training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or related field.
- 7+ years of digital marketing, ecommerce, marketplace, or off-premise channel experience.
- Experience with delivery, catering, or marketplace platforms such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, ezCater, Olo, Instacart, or similar partners.
- Experience managing digital media budgets, partner-funded campaigns, invoicing, billing reconciliation, and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical and business acumen, including comfort with channel economics, P&Ls, media performance, and guest behavior.
- Strong communicator who can influence cross-functional teams, franchisees, external partners, and senior leaders.
- Bias for action, curiosity, and a passion for food, hospitality, and making QDOBA easier to access wherever guests choose to order.
