Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Senior Manager, Decision Science to lead a team that turns data into actionable decisions across reverse logistics, lifecycle experiences, and operations. You’ll partner with senior leaders to shape strategy and solve complex challenges from home, with travel within driving distance to Richfield, MN.

You will guide forecasting, experimentation, and predictive modeling while mentoring talent and presenting insights to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience using data and analytics to solve business problems.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and Python, R, or a similar programming language.
• 2+ years of experience leading analytics, data science, business intelligence, or related teams.
• Experience presenting data-driven insights to senior leaders.

As a Senior Manager, Decision Science, you'll lead a team that turns data into decisions that improve how we serve customers and run our business. You'll partner with senior leaders to solve complex challenges, uncover new opportunities, and shape strategy across reverse logistics, lifecycle experiences, and operational performance. If you enjoy leading teams, influencing decisions, and using data to make an impact, we'd love to meet you.

In this role, you'll primarily work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location. However, you must live within a drivable distance to our corporate campus in Richfield, Minnesota. • Experience developing senior technical talent and people leaders
