Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Manager to lead revenue recognition governance across US operations, ensuring ASC 606 compliance and accurate financial reporting. You will partner with pricing, finance and contracts/legal teams to optimize contract structures and improve controls.

The role requires deep GAAP understanding, strong analytics, and the ability to mentor staff while delivering training on revenue recognition practices. Hybrid work with some onsite presence.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of finance experience with a focus on revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DXC policy and US GAAP. ASC 606 and 842.
• Review customer arrangements to determine proper revenue recognition.
• Partner with Pricing, Finance, and Contracts/Legal teams to structure contracts to support revenue objectives.
• Review and approve revenue treatment documentation for team members and larger transactions.
• Work with controllership and auditors on acceptance of revenue dispositions.
• Provide revenue recognitions training to all stakeholders.
• Provide strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects to the company in revenue assurance.
• Support existing deals with revenue recognition queries.
• Provide coaching to increase revenue recognition awareness.
• Mentor/Coach and develop new joiners.

About The Role

As an integral part of the Global Revenue Assurance team, the Sr Manager provides leadership, development and application of consistent revenue recognition rules, policies and assist in documenting accounting guidance for DXC's revenue generating activities on a global basis with specific reference to US GAAP. You will ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding contracts, systems, flow of transactions, internal controls and recommending efficiency and effectiveness improvements.

What You´ll Do

• Ensure compliance to DXC Policy & US GAAP. ASC 606 and 842.
• Review customer arrangements to determine proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standards.
• Partner with company stakeholders, including Pricing, Finance, and Contracts/Legal teams to assist internally in the structuring of contracts to support revenue recognition objectives.
• Review and approve revenue treatment documentation of team members, as well as helping to document revenue treatment for larger, more complex transactions.
• Working with controllership and auditors on acceptance of the revenue dispositions.
• Provide revenue recognitions training to all stakeholders.
• Provide strategic initiatives and other ad hoc projects to the company in the area of revenue assurance.
• Support existing deals with Revenue Recognition queries.
• Provide coaching to increase revenue recognition awareness.
• Mentor/Coach and develop new joiners.

Who You Are

• Degree with a focus in business or accounting; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
• 7-10 years of finance experience, with a focus in revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Experience with lease accounting ASC 842 is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in US without requiring sponsorship now nor in the future.

• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and ability to research relevant Accounting Standards Codification (ASC).
