Job summary

The Western Union Company is seeking a Senior Manager, North America FP&A Consolidation & Analysis to lead planning, forecasting, consolidation, and analytics for the region from Atlanta or Miami. The role partners with leaders to guide priorities, drive performance insights, and build robust financial models.

You will develop operating plans, long-range forecasts, and scenario analyses, delivering senior-level reporting packages and recommendations. Hybrid work and office presence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or related experience.
• Experience leading FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analysis processes.
• Experience developing financial models and business performance analyses.
• MBA or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead North America financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, and analysis processes.
• Develop and maintain annual operating plans, forecasts, long-range plans, and scenario analyses.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to support operations and strategic initiatives.
• Act as finance business partner to leaders, guiding priorities and financial decisions.
• Analyze performance, expenses, investments, and key financial metrics.
• Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions for informed decisions.
• Design and refine financial models and analytical tools for a dynamic business environment.
• Prepare and deliver management reporting packages and business reviews.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and forecasting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, and other functions on enterprise initiatives.
• Lead or contribute to CFO projects and cross-functional programs.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to team members.

Senior Manager, North America FP&A Consolidation & Analysis

IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This position requires candidates to be based in Atlanta or Miami with an expectation to work from the office at least three days per week. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead North America financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, and analysis processes.
• Develop and maintain annual operating plans, periodic forecasts, long-range plans, and scenario analyses.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a day-to-day finance business partner to operational and functional leaders, helping establish priorities and providing financial guidance.
• Analyze business performance, profitability, operating expenses, investments, and key financial metrics.
• Identify business risks and opportunities and develop recommendations to support informed decision-making.
• Design, develop, and refine financial models and analytical tools to support a dynamic business environment.
• Lead preparation and delivery of management reporting packages and business reviews.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, enhance forecasting accuracy, and improve reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, and other business functions on strategic initiatives and enterprise projects.
• Lead or contribute to CFO organization projects and cross-functional business initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to team members, including assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and fostering professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and reporting requirements.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, Accounting, or a related financial discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytical processes.
• Experience developing financial models and business performance analyses.
• Experience partnering with business leaders to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Preferred Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience supporting large, complex, multi-functional organizations.
• Experience with enterprise planning and reporting systems such as Essbase, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting commercial, retail, sales, operations, or customer-facing business functions.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics, automation, and AI tools.
