Job description

Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement

The Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement will set the strategic direction and oversee the execution of all training and development programs for the Restaurant Technologies commercial organization. This pivotal role is responsible for scaling our enablement initiatives to drive significant gains in sales productivity and efficiency.

This leader will deliver high-impact learning programs for all commercial teams, including National Accounts, Mid-Market, and Retail, and our Sales Managers. A key priority will be building out a comprehensive development program for our sales managers to elevate their coaching and leadership capabilities. This individual will also spearhead the selection and implementation of a new Learning Management System (LMS) to maximize the scale, efficiency, and impact of our training efforts. Ultimately, this role is accountable for ensuring our commercial teams have the knowledge, skills, and tools to achieve our revenue goals and drive predictable growth.

Location and Travel

This position can be located anywhere in the continental US, with up to 20% domestic travel to corporate and field locations; expect higher travel during onboarding for field-based activities and team workshops.

Compensation

$140k – 165k base salary plus 20% incentive opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Program Development: Set the strategic vision for commercial enablement. Design, develop, and maintain a goal-oriented training roadmap aligned with business objectives and go-to-market strategies.
  2. Expanded Audience Impact: Develop and deliver targeted enablement programs for all commercial teams—National Accounts, Mid-Market, and Retail—addressing their specific needs, sales cycles, and customer profiles.
  3. Manager & Leadership Development: Architect and implement a learning curriculum for sales managers, focusing on coaching, performance management, pipeline strategy, and leadership skills.
  4. LMS Implementation and Ownership: Lead the selection, implementation, and rollout of a new LMS to create a scalable platform for learning content and performance tracking.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure enablement programs align with company strategies and product roadmaps.
  6. Performance Measurement & Optimization: Establish KPIs to measure the impact of enablement programs, including ramp time, quota attainment, win rates, and sales productivity.
  7. Onboarding & Foundational Skills: Manage the new hire onboarding program to ensure effective ramp-up of new team members.
  8. Needs Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Conduct ongoing needs assessments and seek innovative approaches to improve enablement programs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7-10+ years in sales, sales enablement, or sales training roles.
  • Experience designing and executing strategic enablement programs that improve sales productivity.
  • Experience in LMS administration.
  • Building enterprise-wide training programs for segmented sales teams and leadership.
  • Strategic thinking and initiative-taking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to engage senior leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning principles and modern training techniques.
  • Leadership presence and professionalism.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience leading LMS implementation.
