Job Summary

The Sr Manager - Client Consulting oversees a service-oriented department by leading Account Managers, identifying operational trends, engaging in problem-solving, and maintaining distribution partner satisfaction with Medicare sales operations. This role involves managing and planning the delivery of information and analysis on client cost and utilization data for eligible accounts, recommending best practices, providing benefit consulting services to large accounts, guiding staff, developing policies, and interpreting data for clients.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting, or Finance, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• 7 years of experience interfacing with external clients, large employers, brokers, or consultants.
• 7 years of experience in data analysis and healthcare data reporting.
• 4 years of leadership experience, including 2 years in management.
• Knowledge of healthcare benefits, terminology, concepts, and insurance economics.
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative standards, measures, and statistical concepts.
• Strong negotiation, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in PC applications such as Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Professional designations such as Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (C.E.B.S.).
