Job summary

SK hynix America in San Jose, CA seeks a Sr. Manager of Business Applications (SAP) to lead production applications, drive development and deployment, and optimize SAP-based processes across FI/CO/MM/SD/HR. The role requires deep SAP experience and strong project leadership in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SAP FI/CO/MM/SD/HR lifecycle
• SAP configurations, customizations, system administration
• ERP project management experience
• Knowledge of supply chain solutions in SAP or other ERPs
• Strong IT applications & tech knowledge
• Experience with order management systems and analyzing complex business problems

Responsibilities

• Oversee management and support of Production business applications, including modifications and maintenance.
• Facilitate application support, development, and deployment initiatives.
• Enhance business relationships and app performance while delivering new and existing services.
• Build and manage a portfolio of technology programs to improve business processes.
• Develop and manage an Applications plan with senior management alignment.
• Direct feasibility studies, scoping, and planning for projects.
• Plan and oversee execution of technical projects balancing scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk.
• Set priorities and schedules for projects ensuring timely delivery and strategic alignment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management and support of Production business applications, including system modifications and maintenance.
• Facilitate application support, development, and deployment initiatives.
• Enhance business relationships and application performance while identifying and delivering both new and existing application services to address the evolving needs of business users.
• Build, manage, and deliver a comprehensive portfolio of technology programs and projects aimed at improving business process capabilities.
• Develop and manage an Applications plan in collaboration with senior management to align with business objectives.
• Direct and evaluate feasibility studies, project scoping, and planning for business application projects.
• Define, plan, and oversee the execution of a wide range of technical projects, effectively balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk.
• Establish priorities and schedules for business application projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in requirements gathering & documentation, design, testing, implementation, and support of SAP FI/CO/MM/SD/HR.
• Demonstrated technical expertise acquired through SAP configurations, customizations, system administration, and interface management.
• Essential knowledge of ERP project management processes.
• Proficient understanding of supply chain solutions and other capabilities facilitated by SAP or other ERP systems.
• Extensive knowledge of IT Applications and Technology.
• Strong experience in order management systems, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and procedures to deliver effective solutions that meet business requirements.
• Exceptional ability in managing and monitoring business operations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with SAP (FI/CO, HR preferred).
• Bilingual candidates (English, Korean) are preferred.
