Descripción del empleo

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Manager, Affiliates based in the United States.

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Affiliates to lead and scale a high-impact affiliate partnership program within a fast-growing global technology environment. In this leadership role, you will own the affiliate strategy, oversee day-to-day operations, and drive partner acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. You will build and develop a geographically distributed team, empowering managers to deliver strong performance while establishing clear objectives and measurable outcomes. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will shape commission structures, incentive programs, and partnership strategies to strengthen the affiliate ecosystem. This position offers significant autonomy to influence business growth, optimize channel performance, and develop innovative approaches to partner engagement. The ideal candidate combines commercial expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and exceptional relationship management skills.

Accountabilities
  • Affiliate Strategy and Growth: Partner with senior leadership to define, develop, and execute the overall affiliate program strategy. Establish clear performance indicators, revenue targets, and reporting dashboards to measure channel effectiveness and support sustainable business growth.
  • Commission and Incentive Programs: Design, implement, and optimize competitive commission structures, tiered rewards, and partner incentive programs that drive affiliate engagement, acquisition, retention, and revenue performance.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a geographically distributed affiliate function across the United States, the Philippines, and China. Recruit, develop, and manage team leads and managers responsible for daily execution while establishing strategic priorities, OKRs, and performance expectations for the overall function.
  • Strategic Partner Management: Develop and maintain relationships with high-value affiliate partners. Oversee partner recruitment and onboarding strategies, evaluate partnership opportunities, and approve commercial agreements, including tiered commission arrangements and exclusivity terms.
  • Market Insights and Business Development: Identify emerging industry trends, partner needs, and market opportunities. Translate these insights into actionable recommendations and advocate for improvements to product offerings, marketing strategies, and internal operational processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to develop co-marketing campaigns, with Product to influence partner-focused features and improvements, and with Finance to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and evaluate return on investment.
  • Performance and Financial Management: Monitor affiliate channel performance, analyze key business metrics, and take ownership of budget and financial outcomes. Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, optimize spending, and improve overall program profitability.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish scalable processes, reporting standards, and management practices that support consistent execution across markets while maintaining strong partner relationships and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience managing teams in sales, partnerships, business development, or related commercial functions.
  • Proven experience managing people managers or leading multi-team functions, with the ability to build, develop, and scale high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and growing successful sales, affiliate, or partnership channels, ideally within a technology or digital business environment.
  • Previous affiliate marketing experience is highly desirable, although experience scaling commission-based, incentive-driven, or partner-led revenue channels is also relevant.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed or fully remote teams across different countries and time zones.
  • Previous ownership of budgets, financial performance, or profit-and-loss responsibilities, with a strong understanding of commercial metrics and return on investment.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to engage effectively with external partners, senior executives, managers, and individual contributors.
  • High emotional intelligence and proven ability to navigate complex partner relationships, negotiate effectively, and manage challenging situations diplomatically.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and making sound decisions with incomplete information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, combined with the ability to maintain a broader strategic perspective.
  • Familiarity with technology platforms, CRM systems, performance dashboards, and analytics tools. Basic SQL or advanced analytical capabilities are considered an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented, with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on operational leadership.
Benefits
