Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Insights Analyst based in the United States.

As an Insights Analyst, you will transform complex digital data into actionable insights that help enterprise clients optimize their content, marketing strategies, and business performance. You will analyze web analytics, customer journey data, and qualitative and quantitative research to uncover meaningful trends and opportunities. Working within a collaborative, cross-functional client team, you will translate technical findings into compelling narratives and practical recommendations. You will develop data-driven testing strategies, create impactful dashboards, and help clients measure the effectiveness of their digital investments. Using advanced analytics platforms and emerging AI technologies, you will contribute to smarter decision-making and continuous optimization. This fully remote opportunity offers direct exposure to high-profile enterprise clients in a fast-paced, innovative SaaS environment.

Accountabilities
  • Data Analysis and Insights Generation: Analyze complex datasets from web analytics, customer journey analytics, and survey platforms, combining qualitative and quantitative information to identify meaningful patterns, trends, opportunities, and performance drivers.
  • Data Storytelling and Strategic Recommendations: Translate technical findings into clear, compelling narratives that connect analytical results to client objectives, business priorities, and measurable outcomes. Provide practical recommendations that stakeholders can understand and implement.
  • Testing and Optimization Strategies: Develop test-and-learn plans based on analytical findings to help clients continuously improve their website experiences, content performance, customer engagement, and marketing strategies.
  • Client and Account Team Collaboration: Work closely with account teams and cross-functional stakeholders to tailor reports, insights, and recommendations to individual client needs, business contexts, and strategic objectives.
  • Technical Client Support: Support client-facing teams by explaining analytical findings, answering technical questions, and helping communicate performance insights and recommendations effectively.
  • Data Quality and Statistical Accuracy: Maintain high standards of data integrity, cleanliness, accuracy, and statistical validity. Investigate anomalies, challenge assumptions, validate conclusions, and identify the underlying factors influencing performance.
  • Reporting and Data Visualization: Design and develop compelling dashboards, analytical reports, and presentations using data visualization tools to make complex information accessible and meaningful to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Business Impact and Performance Measurement: Connect content and marketing analytics to commercial objectives, helping clients understand the effectiveness of their investments and identify opportunities to improve business performance and return on investment.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay informed about emerging analytics technologies, AI developments, digital marketing trends, and evolving content discovery behaviors. Proactively share ideas to improve analytical methodologies, product capabilities, and client strategies.
  • Project and Priority Management: Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, analytical rigor, and consistent quality while collaborating effectively within a dedicated client team.
Requirements
  • Between 3 and 10 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, digital analytics, or a related analytical role, preferably within marketing, digital media, or SaaS environments.
  • Previous experience working in a startup or growth-stage organization, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced, agile, and evolving business environments.
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms, subscription-based business models, and recurring customer relationships.
  • Strong expertise in Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, with in-depth knowledge of at least one platform. Experience with both is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for data manipulation, analysis, reporting, and quality control.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and the ability to interpret organic search performance, content discoverability, and website traffic metrics.
  • Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Optimizely, Contentsquare, or Amplitude.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets, validate findings, identify inconsistencies, and draw reliable conclusions.
  • Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to turn fragmented qualitative and quantitative findings into cohesive narratives that drive business decisions.
