The City of Fort Worth Aviation Department at Spinks Airport is seeking a Senior Maintenance Worker to perform on-airport maintenance tasks, including mowing, paving, sign and light repairs, and facility upkeep within aircraft operation areas.
Ideal candidates have 3 years of general maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug screen and physical. FAA Full Movement Area Certification must be obtained within three months of hire, with CDL preferred.
Pay Range: $18.32 - $22.90/hr. | $38,109 - $47,636 annual compensation

A Sr. Maintenance Worker job is available with the City of Fort Worth Aviation Department at Spinks Airport. The work will be in close proximity of aircraft operations. Typical work includes filling ruts, grading, maintaining barricades, repair airport signs and lights, facility repairs, painting, mowing, weeding, herbicide application, snow removal, electrical, fence repair and other duties as assigned. Must have clear and concise two-way radio communication while working under pressure. Applicant must have the ability to operate snow/ice removal equipment on ramps, taxiways and runways and be available for inclement weather conditions.

Incumbents may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, intense noises, gases, vibrations, chemicals, oils and workspace restrictions.
Heavy Work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
