Job summary

Cardinal Health in Chicopee, MA is seeking a Sr Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:30pm–7:00am). You will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment to support GMP-compliant operations.

The role requires 2–4 years maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work with engineering, quality and production teams. On-call and weekend coverage are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective actions on manufacturing machinery, facility systems, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process systems to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Complete repairs per applicable codes and standards and maintain repair records in CMMS.
• Install, test, and support new equipment, upgrades, and validations with Engineering, Quality, and Production.
• Assist with on-call rotation and weekend coverage as needed.

Production Setup and Maintenance sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.***Responsibilities:**** Perform preventive maintenance and corrective actions on manufacturing machinery, facility systems, and equipment.* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process systems, including motors, drives, pumps, valves, chains, and belts, to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.* Complete repairs in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices.* Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records in Cardinal Health's CMMS system.
