Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to lead shift operations, diagnose complex automated systems, and mentor technicians in a highly automated environment.

You will repair and optimize conveyors and robotic systems, drive PM programs, manage work orders in CMMS, and ensure safety, quality, and uptime while collaborating with Automation support teams. You will also interpret electrical schematics and PLC logic, coordinate with Maintenance and Operations, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

About the RoleIn this role, you will support the maintenance and operation of critical building systems within a client's facility. As a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician, you will lead shift operations, troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, and ensure equipment reliability and uptime. You will provide technical direction and mentorship to technicians, partner closely with Automation support teams, and help maintain safety, quality, and operational standards in a highly automated environment.Seeking candidates who are shift flexible/open to shiftWhat You’ll DoPromote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.What You’ll NeedApplicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.High school diploma or general education degree (GED).4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.Ability to conduct preventative and procedure-based maintenance.Experience reading blueprints and schematics.Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.3+ years of work order management.Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations such as; routine maintenance, repairs, preventative measures, emergency responses, coordination, and safety compliance.Ability to move up to 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.Preferred QualificationsAssociates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.Previous leadership experience.Previous vendor management experience.Experience with robotic maintenance.Experience with CMMSCertification preferred in one or more of the following: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.You should be proficient in:Leadership / People ManagementProject ManagementMechanical Troubleshooting Skills120/208/240/480 Voltage SystemsElectrical TroubleshootingInsulation Resistance TestingMaintenance and Repair SkillsIndustrial Electrical ExperienceIndustrial Electrical SystemsLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Equipment Installation & WiringEquipment Repair & MaintenanceMachines & technologies you'll use:Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)Conveyor Systems
