Job summary

The Senior Maintenance Mechanic at University of Miami leads general facility maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical and HVAC, ensuring systems stay fully operational and compliant with safety standards.

He/she directs technical staff, develops preventive maintenance programs, and guides less experienced team members while handling urgent service requests and safeguarding university assets.

Qualifications

Senior Maintenance Mechanic Overview

The Senior Maintenance Mechanic provides general facility maintenance services and operations, including plumbing, carpentry, painting plastering, electrical maintenance, HVAC maintenance and general operations, housekeeping, and landscape and grounds maintenance. Further, the Senior Maintenance Mechanic resolves the more complex questions and problems.
